4:35 pm - busy busy busy...buzz buzz

After a much needed break--for those who know my slight struggle of a certain dress--and my knee just saying "fuck you" and giving out on me, i'm back at it again..kinda. I will eventually have the pics of D's dress up here. Granted i only took one but luckily there was a lot of photographers who took pics of the show. So you'll be seing some of those as well.
Some things have been put on the back burner and other have moved to the top of the list. So the newly updated list includes:
~Finish outfit for upcoming week
~pleated hoochie mama skirt for client
~get measurements for corset for 2 clients
~make fuzzy pants for miss mandy
~start work on Oct. costume (it's a secret..ssssssssssssssshh!)
and as soon as i get the all clear from my sister, i'll be able to put up things on my website (she's in the process as moving things over elsewhere)

1:15 am - So...i got bored
|
And decided to make an outfit. Just becuz. I really had nothing else better to do. Hopefully i'll be posting pictures of it as soon as i can. So far i have:
** OUTFIT 1 **
~Furry leg warmers (thanks for the left over fur you didn't use for my pieces D!)
~Grey cyber skirt **high slit on each side** i haven't really decided if i'm actually done with it or not.
Now all i need is to "put together" my dread falls--cuz i have no time or patience to actually make them from scratch-- and a top. Something with the combination of what fur and Grey material i have left over. I'll think of something
The other two is for the upcoming purgatory. woot! And that all consist of:
** OUTFIT 2 **
~Attach, tailor and add finishing touch to my actual dress
~Find some way to make a really big hat on the off chance i can't find one.
** OUTFIT 2B **
~Gone with the wind dress. (Will be getting fabric soon and probably keep going til i'm at a comfortable stopping point)
Other clothing projects that i have put on the back burner til outfit 2 A/B is done with:
~A pair of furry pants for Miss Mandy
~Blue plaid corset w/matching skirt complete with black pvc bondage straps and D-rings
~Possible purple oriental brocade corset/dress
~ A black (or any other color) PVC Victorian Dress ....yeah, that'll take a while
I believe there was another idea roaming around in my brain but it must be hiding again. Oh well, it'll have to come out...one day
All other projects:
Websites. Yeah, i really do need to work on that. I have to space to put them up. Just been busy and haven't done it yet *hangs head in shame...slightly*
The occasional photo shoot: I've done a couple so far. Pics aren't up yet but they will be soon... i hope

12:14 am - Trip

So, i am back from my travels and not much going on. Minus all the long ass layover and red eye flights it was alright. I really didn't do much in the way or going out and drinking like one would think. No, not so much and for many reasons:
This was more of a family oriented kinda trip. My dad wanted to see and spend time with my lil sister while on her spring break and wanted to see the sights. Which we did. I'll admit that the nature trail we went on that lead to a waterfall was much fun. Very peaceful, quiet. hardly any people there in abundance or the sounds of cars, buses,trolleys, and people going to what my sister likes to call "tourist traps". And if i had known i be able to swim around the waterfall i would have brought my bathing suit....but then...i heard people yelling how cold it was...mmm...i'll think on it.
I had all intentions of going horseback riding--after ll, it's there and the scenery i heard was pretty good--but it's was $57 a hour and for some reason an hour will not do. so i would have to pay at least $150 for a real good ride. for that much my horse better tap dance while i'm on it then proceed to fix me a 5 course meal. I'll just have to do it some other time i suppose
We did go to the north shore (no surfers and hardly any surf for that matter) and to Hanauma Bay (very pretty and will have to do a bit of snorkeling the next time i visit). I must rather go swimming there than here at home. Sad but true. At least there they have the cryslal clear clean water that i can see the coral reefs from the bus stop.
Unfortunately about halfway through the trip my body decided to rebel. With all of the staying up late with maybe 3hrs of sleep under my belt trying to get the final details of the trip (thanks D for helping us out. love ya bunches ^_^), the long flights, getting there and running around, climate change (i was now in constant 80 degree weather), time changes (6hr time zone difference will do things to ya) my body finally said "fuck it" and shut down. so needless to say i was started getting sick on thrusday afternoon while we were still walking around, then in bed all day friday and part of saturday with a fever, headache, dizziness...yeah, much fun.
But oh well, at least the flights back was pleasant. But i didn't spend enough time on the slot machines at the vegas airport like i would of liked to. I guess thats another one of those things on my list i have to get done. Or to go to vegas in general (if theres anyone who wants to go with me, let me know..i enjoy crazy company)
I finally got home at around 5am Wed morning and didn't really go to lay down and sleep til 2hrs later. So that about covers it. My trip. Now i must recoup and get ready for my next trip which is a couple of months away...i hope **crosses fingers**

I have to. just this once:
Unless otherwise stated, i don't HAVE to drop you a line...i don't HAVE to say anything to you and if i don't want to be online i don't want to be online. i never knew til this moment that me being online talking to ONE person so they could feel appericated was my whole main reason for being on earth..
and i thought it was to take over the world. **looks over** come pinky we must start over from scratch...
Now to more...pleasant things...
i'm going away for a while..escaping if you will. It's my sisters spring break in hawaii--yes, she gots to college in hawaii--and the family and i are visiting. i'm leaving today and won't be back til sometime next week. i will give a full update when i get back and hopefully have lovely pictures of men....i mean things that i've seen
yeah..thats it..
oh yes before i forget:
!.) working on site. yes. i really am. stop looking at me like that.
2.) i believe amongst my random chit chat of people round here, i have a client in need of a corset. yay me!
thats about it on the home front til i get back ^_^
